Paranormal Research is becoming more and more popular every day, but with so many "ghost hunter" teams running about it's difficult to know who to turn to when you need help. Southern
Paranormal Researchers is a credible and professional research team. Our team
stands out because of our professionalism, our background, and our
Christian faith. Our members are college educated and have successful careers. Every investigator is well-trained and undergoes a series of mandatory training classes.
We are a non-profit group, and we do not charge for our investigations or speaking engagements. Our expenses are funded through donations and out-of-pocket.
Our team uses a wide variety of investigative methods to help determine
what type of paranormal activity, if any, is present and how best to deal with it once it has
been identified. We extensively research any location we investigate, perform a thorough investigation and prepare a detailed report
outlining our findings. We are experienced in investigating historical sites,
hotels, inns, private residences, and even outdoor locations. Our specialty is assisting people who feel they may have a dark or demonic entity in their home/location. Our
investigators are committed to helping people answer any questions regarding the
unknown or fears they may have. We will work with any family or group until they feel comfortable in their location.
We also conduct Seminars and
Investigation Tours by request at many places of historical interest to help
raise money for them and promote their history. As with all of our services, we do not charge for these events. We have hosted events at the Pickens County Court House in Carrollton, AL (face in the court house window),
Shorter Mansion in Eufaula, AL, Tallassee Library in Tallassee, AL,
and the Buena Vista Plantation in Prattville, AL. We are always looking for
new opportunities to assist historic locations in any way
possible.
We have been featured in the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper,
Charleston City News, Phoenix City Citizen News, Fox News, Mobile Bay Monthly (a
local magazine in the Mobile area), Americus Times, WSFA-Channel 12 Montgomery, WAKA-Channel 8 Montgomery,

Lake Martin Living magazine & the NBC affiliate in Mobile Alabama. Our
Director, Shawn Sellers, has been invited to numerous speaking engagements around
Alabama and the South. We have traveled from Alabama to Indianapolis, IN to Charleston, SC to Savannah, GA to New Orleans, LA and all places in between.
